Cleaveland SHS zoned or not?

Hi
Looking at moving down to Brisbane in the next month or so from a somewhat quieter part of Qld. Im looking at Cleveland State High school for my 2 boys but not sure if this school has a zone/enrolement catchment?
As ive been looking at properties in this area and noticed there are other schools but I would like to get into the right area for Cleveland.
I have contacted the school but there still on hols.
Any advice would be appreciated :)

There is a catchment area for all State schools in Qld, high schools usually have a larger catchment area. Attached links are school information and catchment map. Good luck.

Sorry your comment made me think, if you are in the catchment/enrolled area are you guaranteed to get a place or can they still turn you away?
Sorry but we only moved over from NZ at the end of Nov and we have realised where we currently are based is not for us! My boys are enrolled to go to the local school in the new term so I am new to the Qld school system:unsure:

I believe there is now a catchment area in place due to the high demand and lack of SHS over this way, lots of Redland Bay/Mt Cotton kids don't/won't get places at Cleveland SHS, there only SHS option is Victoria Point SHS:eek:, unless they travel the other way, a new SHS is certainly needed.

If you live within the catchment they are have to take them.
