Clean my drivers licence before I go?
I don't mean wash it!
I have 3 points for speeding, now expired but still on the counterpart of my licence, question is, should I fork out £22 ($50 !!!) before I go so I arrive clean? Or is it not gonna make any difference to getting my Aussie licence?

Not that it made much difference, he got 3 points a couple of weeks back, so now he his back to where he was anyway!!!

And the police here are very anal (read arseholes). Lots of speedchecks in areas where a few KM over wouldn't really matter.
Get the aussie highway code book and read up on the rules. I got 3 points for turning across a double white line (not overtaking), my fault for not knowing the rules but still annoying

Why not practice driving at 37 mph on dual carriage ways and 62 mph on the motorway.....see how bloody difficult it is.

If you move address then they change your details for free. Don't you need to move in with a family member before moving to Oz?
