Default Claiming Driving lessons on tax return?

Hello everybody,

at the grand age of 36 I have finally taken the lessons, sat and passed my driving test.
- and now have the P-plates to prove it

This means that I no longer have to be chaperoned by a driving colleague when I go to meet clients & manufacturing partners (I work in electronics in Melbourne)
- I was told anecdotally that I should be able to claim for the cost of learning on my tax return (by a former colleague who last year claimed for his pilot's license - saving him from having to run about in his 4x4 to sites)
- is there anywhere you can recommend I look for advice on how to do this?
- all the ATO docs I can find pertain to course fees etc

Thanks in advance,
sd
