Default Claiming back VAT

If I buy a laptop here a couple of weeks before I leave can I claim the VAT back at Heathrow as it'll be for export.

Not certain of the procedure, but yes, it can be done.

What about your main Tax? have you sorted all that out, as a self employed person I should imagine a rebate is due.
(I still have to do last years, )
