How long did it take from lodging an application for Citizenship to attending a Citizenship Ceremony?

I live in Cairns at the moment so if anyone has applied from there I would really appreciate your input.

Perhaps you could ring the citizenship line to find out. It looks like there isn't anyone in Cairns able to answer your question.

Hi there im not in Cairns but it took 1 month for my daughter and has taken 4 months for us the delay is actually in the police check that has to performed again here in Oz

Please note that the Citizenship Line will not give specific info "anytime in the next 6 months" kind of answer which is why I asked the question. Thanks again. Sue

Depends on your council and when they hold them. 6 months is usually the max.
