citizenship test book

Hi all, when we booked for our test this week, i needed it to be on a day that i was seeing a lawyer (on a different matter) in Perth CBD as i have to take a day off work unpaid, so the only date I could do both is 22nd OCT,

but the downside is that they say that it takes 4-6 weeks to send out the book (what tosh).

has anyone got one that they could lend me, I would be willing to pick it up from around perth or send it and I would reinburse you the postage, that would help heaps.

I know that there are sites to get test questions from but would go into test having read the book, cant afford another days pay to resit the test, if anyone can help, cheers Paul

Mate, download it from the citizenship site and print it off. Easy, free and you'll have it straight away.

The link to download it on this page http://www.citizenship.gov.au/test/preparing/index.htm

And by the way, no site has all the questions from the test. They have not been released and wont be. What those sites have is the example questions that immigration published and then they make up the rest of the questions to cover all the information. They are not the actual questions at all and frankly overkill imo.

I have one you can borrow. PM me your address and I'll post it out to you tomorrow from work.

Don't worry if you don't pass the first time. They will usually let you re-sit after 20 minutes or so. I shouldn't worry, though. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

yep, I ordered 3 (although it says you can only order only one, just keep going back in and put in other details) just over a week ago and they arrived in 5 days:thumbsup:

I did my test back in March and put a thread up about it. I downloaded the booklet from the website, read and understood it and took it seriously. I passed with 100% on the day. They give you about 45mins from memory but won't need anywhere near that long I doubt.

If you pass you get a certificate on the day or can have it posted out to you if you are in a hurry. From there I booked my citizenship ceremony online and had it within 4 months and got my passport 1 month ago. :)

Good luck and it really makes you feel proud to have achieved it when you have completed all the steps

Aussietest are certainly helpful......if you do the practice tests on there a few times I'm sure all bases are covered. I sat my real test on Monday and found it was a whole lot easier than the Aussietest questions.....some of the questions were just downright silly. :D
