I was reading the Anti-terror bill 2005 and I didn’t find any mention of the change in the citizenship rules.

I suppose that the changes to the Citizenship Act are coming in a different bill. If so, when do you believe that the proposed bill will be introduced in Parliament? Do you think that the recess in Parliament from Christmas to 26 January 2006 may postpone enough the approval of the bill to allow people in our situation to lodge the Citizenship application at the end of February? When do you think that we can read a complete draft of the bill with the new regulations to finish with this uncertainty?

What Mr. Cobb Citizenship adviser told me that they are going to introduce the new citizenship legislation in November and they expect it to be assent in Feb and they will do some ads to tell the people about the change
probably they will apply the new changes in March
plus they will not exclude current PR visa holders

My 2 years is in 10 April
