hi does anyone know the telphone number of the citizenship dept in canberra, if phoning from outside australia. (uk)
i know there is an internal free helpline number, but i cant find the normal number anywhere on the gov sites.

Have you tried dialling 00 61 131880? Sometimes these 13**** numbers can be accessed from outside Australia.

Otherwise try one of the numbers at this page:
http://www.immi.gov.au/wwi/aust-off2.htm#ACT

hi and thanks again alan i phoned canberra and was told that they were glad i had phoned as they prefer to send applications for citizenship that are applied for onshore, back to an onshore address, so they are going to send it to my dads, and he will forward it on to me in uk. so thanks again for your help. im sure it was just sitting there with everyone avoiding it.
