Citizenship Ceremony today...Hats off to the Aussies!

Default Citizenship Ceremony today...Hats off to the Aussies!
Hi Guys

Just wanted to share our Aussie Citizenship ceremony we had today in Kawana, Sunshine Coast.

We are not really into pomp n ceremony but the 'doo' we went to today for our citizenship was awesome!

Lots of people attended, ceremony started off with a man playing the digery-doo. Then some speeches, all good, then each person had to go up and collect their certificate and shake hands with an important person! There was a good vibe thru-out the ceremony, top feel-good factor. We were also presented with a small tree / plant to grow which I thought was a very sweet touch. After was nibbles n orange! Marvelous!

Thanks to all the people who made it happen.

We went to lodge our passport applications aferwards, but realised we had to make an appointment, doh!

We are now aussies!! What a privaledge!
