does anyone know if i can send off my application for citizenship by decent without a police check and send the police check along in 2 mths.
ive been waiting 71/2 weeks now and no matter what people say
i am assured that the computer that deals with this side of things has been down for over a week.
the lady at scotland yard assures me i am very close to the top of the list and as soon as the comp is up and running again my check will be dispatched,
problem. ? im off too sunny melbourne for 7 weeks as from sunday 17th march and if it dont arrive soon unless i can send everything off without it im stuck.
help any ideas? wot can i doo

Why not ring the Australian High Commission and ask them? Or failing that, maybe
you could bring all your documentation to Australia and call in at a DIMIA office
when here.

Hi, We have just sent off for our checks again. have you any more info regarding the
computer being down ?

yea supposedly it should be up and running again tuesday.
but dont hold your breath
the friday before last they told me it had been down and was working again.
then in the week they told me a couple of days then this friday they told me tuesday.
so good luck shaun
