Default A Christmas Song for the forum :)

This is off another post, but I thought I'd share it with the forum... been written one line at a time by; SteandLeigh, Moneypen, ProofReader, Simone, Polly & myself

*Ah-hem*

On the 12th day of xmas, my tightwad gave to me

Twelve cold and desperate brits (waiting to leave)

Eleven barbies burning,

Ten burnt fingers(from the car steering wheel),

Nine cases of heatstroke,

Eight cane toads a-croaking

seven crows a-cawing

six iced lamingtons,

five rose tinted spectacles,

four whinging poms

three moaning trolls,

two barking dogs

one sheeps dag

and a koala in a gum tree.....

So someone took the plunge and finished it then!

My version was going to be.......

Madge used to cook them in neighbours and thought they were made up until I got here.Don't you watch neighbours!
They're ok - large spongey jamey things covered in coconut - quite light to eat. Shops are full of them out here but they're just as overrated as Timtams in my opinion

Personal opinion - pigging disgusting article! It a cake covered in coconut, Aussies seems to love them and serve them with monotonous regularity.

Yep, yum yum
Sponge cake, chocolate icing and coconut.

I prefer mudcake though, much more chololate!

"Lamingtons Pack 6 $3.63 inc GST (Cost Price)

Delicious sponge cake squares dipped in chocolate icing and rolled in coconut. Who could resist this traditional favourite?"

If you have children at school, you will soon find out what they are, with a "Lamington Drive". We have just found a school that doesn't do these, the parents pay a voluntary donation to avoid them
