Christmas

Hi everyone, Just noticed on another thread someone mentioning xmas.

Question for you. I have a lot of family in Oz, mainly qland and some near the Blue Mountains and I would like to get them pressies.

Does anyone know where I can get some form of oz shop/store that would gift wrap and deliver pressies in Oz???

Just wondering if would be cheaper as well than sending over a parcel.

I am sooooo going to watch this post! I am just about to buy Chrissy presents and send them, so will be interested to see. I know Angus & Robertson book shops will wrap gifts and send them to an address you specify but am interested in other stores too. :)

Hi
If you wish to send some pressies in Aus try http://www.petersofkensington.com.au/

They have a broad range of products, gift wrap for free and deliver Australia wide. They are based in Sydney. I have used this service alot. They have perfume, foods, some very unusual things, (I bought my sister an automatic opening rubbish bin).

Just a suggestion, hope it helps as it is much cheaper than posting, better service and more choice as you do not have to deal with customs.

Regards

Re: Christmas

does anyone know if any of those accept payments from overseas though? That has been my problem with buying pressies for people overseas in the past - you get right to the checkout and then they won't accept payment on a UK card!

Hi All,

Here's a good one www.gifts2thedoor.com

They've got a huge selection, deliver the goods themselves in the Perth region and use Auspost for the rest of Aus!
They even throw in a free wrapping and giftag service and are very, very reasonably priced too! ;) :)

Give them a go! :D

Cheers

Hi,

I saw someone mention www.cumquattree.com.au earlier. I have actually visited the store in Perth and it is gorgeous!! I didn't realise they had a website - I have just been on and it is beautiful. Pressies for bubs, mums, dads..... Delivery seems cheap too at $8.95 anywhere within oz - with free gift wrap... They have got a couple of cute little clocks, I will check if they send to UK too since i wouldn't mind some things for me!
