We weren't overly impressed with the Tedder Ave one. There is one on the Highway I think between Miami and Broadbeach but have no idea what it's like.

Just found this. Could have fun trying them

The two Coolangatta ones appear child friendly - the first one more so by the looks of things.

We ate at The Jolly Chinaman on Tedder Avenue about 18 months ago. It was very nice, very child friendly (although we left ours at home (with grandparents! not on own!!)) Only thing we didn't know until we were in was it was BYO alcohol. Could have nipped across the road to BWS, we didn't just enjoyed the meal and then nipped in the wine bar (also across road). Food was yummy though.

In fact, I now feel quite hungry.

.... of course saying all that, it was 18 months ago and it may have changed since then...

We went to the Thai on Tedders, (3 times in 3weeks), We've told all our friends about it. We will be taking all our guest there. Food and service were great. They were very Talkative we us and our 2 boys 9&10 at the time.

Totally agree. We had a brilliant Chinese 'eat as much as you want' restaurant , from the a la carte menu for £13 in the UK. Even on a Friday and Saturday. Its the only restaurant I really miss. I do remember a scrummy Chinese restaurant at the Gold Coast, but it was about 3 years ago, so can't remember the name, and I'm guessing it was at Surfers. Probably doesn't even exist anymore. Oh well, I'm sure you'll find somewhere nice.
