Default chinese new year

Hi, does anyone know how long the Chinese New year festivals last? Apparently, they will be celebrating on the Gold Coast as all of the hotel are full.

The Chinese New Year runs from the first day of the lunar calender to the fiftheenth day.

Usually the celebration is only on during the few days.

If ever anyone is in sheffield, you MUST go to a chinese takeaway in Hillsborough called Canton King (known locally by its old name - kwongs) The food is out of this world, not too expensive but the portions are HUGE!!!!!

Wednesday was the Orthodox Xmas. Eid al Fitr (end of the ramadan fast) was recently celebrated in some Sydney burbs.
