Childrens mental retardation and immigration
Hi guys,
i cant find any info in russian forums about my question, so i tying to asking in UK forum
My younger son have mental retardation (brain damage when he was born)
He is 7 yearl old, cant speaking, need special adaptive school, logopedic lessons and so on. Also he need some special neuroleptical medicine (Neuleptil)
I can move to Australia with 190 visa but i thinking my son dont pass the medicine officer.
Someone have some expirience with problem like mine? Any ideas? Chances?

But based on what you have written I would say that your son is going to fall the medical - and that means your whole family will fail. Special Education costs the Australian tax payer a lot of money and it doesn't take much to be over the threshold when Special Ed is involved. Talk to the agent though but I think you have to be realistic and expect that your chances are going to be zero.
