UP to a quarter of Fitzroy Crossing's population has flooded nearby towns in search of alcohol, four weeks after they were limited to takeaway light beer.
Some have left their children home alone, and Fitzroy Crossing police confirm they have caught children as young as 10 breaking into houses and stealing food as they try to fend for themselves.
