Smile Childcare for over 12s on the holidays - any advice?

I haven't had much success with getting a job but I am really going for it now as we desperately need more cash. The problem I have is that although I can put my 9 year old in a vacation care programme, my other daughter is 12. There aren't many term time only jobs out there, I have no family here and I don't want to rely on friends so I wondered if anyone had any advice or ideas about childcare for older kids. I really don't want to leave her alone all day from 8am to 6pm but I need to get a job. I am in the Duncraig/Carine area of Perth so I would appreciate any information about anything going locally.

There are a couple of places I use for my kids, who are a similar age:
UWA vacation care http://www.studentservices.uwa.edu.a...care/enrolment
UWA UniSports for Kids (offers half-day and full-day) http://www.sport.uwa.edu.au/usfk
ECU Kids holiday programme (Joondalup and Mt Lawley, mainly sport) http://www.ecu.edu.au/fas/sport/kids.php

There is also a programme at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital we sometimes use. Local councils usually offer programmes, plus there are YMCA and others. Some services book up quickly, especially when there's an excursion on. Most of them you have to provide all food, some might provide morning and afternoon snacks.
