Question Childcare for 4 year old in Bayside, Melbourne?

We will finally be arriving in Melbourne on the 9th September, and I have started to worry about childcare for my youngest daughter.

She will be 5 in November and will therefore be able to start prep school in January '07. The problem is that I need to find a nursery or kindergarten for her so she can attend something prior to starting prep. She is attending a nursery at the moment, and I know that she will miss the socialising a lot and I think it would be too much for her to start prep not having attended any nursery for over 3 months.

We have decided to rent in Bayside - well it just looks fab ! So it has to be somewhere in that area (focusing on Black Rock, Beaumaris, Sandringham)

I know that the waiting lists are long and it can be difficult to get in, but I won't be working for the first many months so it does not have to be full time or even every day.

Can anyone help? Can you recommend anywhere? And do you have any email addresses I can use to contact the places so I can try to arrange a visit?

You have all been so helpful before, I hope you can help with this one too....

Thanks
