childcare

Hi y'all

Can anyone out there give an indication to the cost of full-time childcare in a nursery for a week?

Thanks
Diane:rolleyes:

Hi Diane,
I am not sure where you intend on living in Australia but have a look at:

http://www.cityof-
sydney.nsw.gov.au/cs_childcare_centres.asp
(which lists
many Centres in Sydney and gives some insight into costs, these costs may
vary in other locations though.

http://members.oze-
mail.com.au/~wildwizm/childcarecosts.htm
(Which gives
you some detail and links to the Federal Government's Childcare Assistance
Scheme)

regards

Rob

In QLD you would pay around $140 to $165 Per Week.

I am of the impression that it could be a bit higher in Sydney/Melb, . Perhaps if you post where you are going to somebody would help further.

Hi

Here in Perth my sons Day Care is around $45-49 for the full day but we only pay part of this with the help of childcare benefit.
