Child migration
hello ,
My family (myself ,my wife and daughter 8 years) we got permanent resident to Australia in Skilled migration caregory last year and all of us visited Australia last year Jun'04. At that time I was working in Muscat now 4 months back I resigned and returned to India and in mean time we are blessed with a cute daughter in May'05. Since we all have permanent resident to Australia except the new born daughter. I will be thankful if someone suggest me what is procedure for getting permanent resident visa to my daughter , how much time it takes, what form to be filled up, whether there is any medical and is there any restriction like first visit after getting perrmanent visa. Regards, =Ash= |

Regards, =Ash= Not sure if the same when applying from India, but my hubbie and I hold PR's and validated in 2003. Since then, we had twin boys in the UK, and so had to arrange PR's for them - very simple - fill out Child migration and Child Sponsorship forms, they had to have medicals and when DIMIA received all paperwork they granted their PR visas within a few days! Good luck, Debbie |
