We are having our bloods and chest xrays today - whats it like ????

Will they look at xray while we are there and tell us if its ok????

Really easy! Don't worry!
They just check to make sure that got a good xray but then the Dr will check them for owt bad later!

We were curious about ours as dh and I both have asthma, and we wondered if there would be any anomalies on either set. However, apart from having to wait to make sure they weren't blurred, we heard nothing more on the subject, so assumed there was no problem. If they do say they're okay, it's merely to tell you that they've come out clearly - radiographers won't be able to inform you of results.

chill out...they're fine..takes minutes. They're only interested in whether it shows up any TB scarring....our radiographer told us within minutes that they were clear. You could always ask.

When we got our's done, My husbands work said the visa was going to get issued in 4 weeks, However it took 9 weeks, Due to the fact that something in his chest xray showed up, His boss told him to get checked when we got here, And being a man that never goes to the doc's, We still don't know what it was that showed up. I am more curious than him as to what it is.

well we just got back - no probs - (that we know to !!!!) - !!! - went in lovely receptionist ( birmingham Priory )
then onto chest xray hubbie smokes and was soooo worried - she implied all was ok then onto blood test which took 2 mins
all results will be sent onto docs for main med
if you are worrying ( like we have been ) DONT
going to have a glass of wine now and chill

It's easy to get stressed over all this
But honestly, the meds are sooo simple that you feel like you've been ripped off cos they cost you so much and the Dr doesnt do anything to justify the amount it's cost!
