Anyone recommend any of the car dealers in chermside, Brisbane or know of any good web sites as we will be buying a car in our first week or 2 of arriving in early May

Do you know which make/model you're getting? New or used? If you know what brand you want, go to their website - e.g. www.nissan.com.au for Nissan, or www.toyota.com.au for Toyota. They all have facilities for you to find the nearest dealer by entering your postcode. The postcode for Chermside is 4032. There are a few dealerships (most of the major brands) on Lutwyche Road in Windsor and I think they are the closest to you.

Before we arrived we used New Discount Cars to get an idea on general prices.

Going for second hand to start with untill we get settled any sort of family size car so probably try out a few dealers
