Hi All
I am a chef in uk looking to make the move to the sunnier side, does anyone know of any recruitment agencies that are dedicated to the catering industry. I have tried centerlink and seek, but these are just general employment agencies...There ok but not brilliant.

My hubby a chef too. We have heard that restaurants are closing in Perth due to a lack of Chefs!! We have have been told that the best thing to do is wait until you are out there and get your CV ready and then bang on doors! You might apply for a job online but it might not be there when you land!!

I know a young guy who's "cheffing" at the SOH, reckons he can get up to $50 an hour on special nights. I think the agent is local, so if it's Sydney you are after I can ask him for some details.
