Default Check the price of household items in Aus

Found this on another forum.

If you click on the area you are going it will give you list of stores and they have catalogues with items in and price.
eg, tv, dvds, washers, fridges hoovers etc.

If the store doesnt have what your looking for in the catalogue. Check another shop some are bigger shops so have more stuff listed on the catalogue.

Catalogue wont be everything they sell but its in colour with pictures and gives you a rough idea of cost.

Might give you an idea what to bring and what to keep!

* Also for those worried about buying a washing machine. You can apply for a 150 dollar refund on some washers from the waterboard.
Here is list I found on another webforum.
Just for everyone's information, you can also get rebates on:

Garden bores - up to $300
Rainwater Tanks (over 600 litres) - up to $300
AAA rated Showerheads - $10 and of course the
Washing Machines rates AAAA and above - $150
pool covers around $150

They said they send off proof of purchase and refund came 3 weeks later.

What state are you talking about?

Here in Queensland it is $100 for AAAA washer.
Also don't count on that 3 week rebate payment as it may take a lot longer than that
