Check List
Hi. My house sale is going through (touch wood) and I've now got to wait until exchange before I can commit to flights etc and apart from selling stuff on eBay I haven't got much else to do in preparation for Sydney.
My checklist is as follows and if I've missed anything crucial then please say, cheers!
Shipping Estimate Home Visit
Exchange contracts on house
Request Removals date for asap!
Had in resignation letter
Book flight
Let Oz mates know arrival date
Start to apply for new jobs in Oz
Belongings collected for shipping
Complete sale of house
Clear remaining creditcards
Cancel all utilities after meters read
Cancel House Insurance
Move in with parents for 10 days
Leave work
Send Tax Form to Inland Revenue
Order Cash Currency
Visit Dentist
Pay money into CBA migrant acc for transfer
Cancel Mobile Phone
Collect Cash Currency
Say goodbye to family and friends
Leave UK :scared:
Arrive Sydney
Stay with friends
Visit Job Agencies
Check Bank acc balance at CBA
Obtain Tax File Number
Apply for Medicare
Search for Flat to rent
