I would not want to risk losing my sanity flying El Cheapo Chino.

I was thinking, 'Err, security????', but the girl and other staff just had to stand there and take it. And then later on at the security screenings, a guard had asked a woman if he could check her bag. She stood there yelling abuse in his face while he looked through her bag. Again, the guy and other guards did nothing. I think as that 'unfriendly skies' story shows, if you're 'important' over there, you can get away with anything. The 2 flights I went on in China were incident free, though. |
Re: Cheaper flights on the way
i'm just hoping this added competition will put pressure on other airlines to lower their fares.

About a month since the last Qantas long-haul sale, don't think it has anything to do with China :) I've only just deleted the last batch of their emails!
Chinese arlines have been offering cheap flights for ages so I also don't think it is connected. |
