To all that are planning to do there own packing,wehave just bought a load of heavy duty boxes for our move to oz.

the great thing is we only paid £20 for 55 boxes of various sizes from large to small.they are used once,but who cares as long as its a box.

rang lots of companies for quotes on new boxes ,and they talk big money.
give the guy a call. have attached a link.

BE very careful with 2nd boxes, make sure they have not been used for packing any FOOD products, as this could cause issues with AQIS. {quarantine]........................... MM

Good point Mr Mover. The cartons i bought has the words "MATALAN" on the side,they are a big clotheswear retailers in u.k. So i assume they didnt carry any food products.

this guy also has a large stock of brand new boxes in loads of sizes,at a fraction of what the removal companies and manufactures where quoting me.

Also worth checking that the boxes are "export quality" as they'll go through a lot of wear and tear before they arrive at your house on the other side of the planet!

they are double walled boxes(export quality),i forgot to mention that he also said he supplied 90% of the local removal firms in the area,and that he was a "trade secret" in the removals business.
