Default cheap eats Canberra

Are there any places to get cheap breakfast in Canberra CBD, hotel wants $35 I know that 'locals' always know of the good places to go! Thanks

Maccas would be about the cheapest.

Behind the Churches Centre in Northborne Ave, Remi do a hot breakfast for about $9.50 from memory - they arent bad. There are loads of places in town really - they vary but you would certainly get something for less than $35 pp. I like Milk and Honey or Cream (two different places) and Cafe Moda in the Canberra Centre does stonking great brekkies for about $10. Also Essen and Gus' are crowd favourites for brekkie.
