Cheap as chips temp accommodation (1 - 2 wks) in Sunshine Coast??
Hello Everyone
We are looking for some cheap as chips temporary accommodation anywhere in the Sunshine Coast.
We are currently staying with relatives in Brisbane and are looking to move to a rental in the Sunshine Coast for the next year. We have been here a week and do not want to out stay our welcome and are fed up with driving up the coast every day. We think that getting the right renatl will take some time. So we are looking for any type of room as long as it has a bathroom and fridge. Are there any hostels, motels or even static caravans that we could stay in for the short-term that anyone knows about. We would consider any location and in-land eg Nambour and the likes.
Any ideas.

PS: We have been here 6 days now and AM LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried the Maroochy Palms park? we stayed there in November and it is really nice. Our accomodation was quite expensive ($90 or $100 a night) but I'm sure they have something cheaper. Here are the contact details

Hi,
Try www.wotif.com - some good deals at the moment. When we arrived we stayed 3 nts in Caloundra as cheaper than brisbane. Anchorage Motor Inn was $49 nt inc bfast for 2. Not particularly nice and quite dark rooms but it did the job and is by coles. Room had a fridge, tv and shower (no bath).I also stayed in Caloundra city backpackers and thats good standard - shared facilities but very clean and big kitchen. www.caloundracitybackpackers.com.au . Hope you find something.
