We have a plan to go to Melbourne in a few weeks and just wondering if anyone know of top accomodation for cheap cheap prices?

Melbourne centre is not cheap but further out its cheaper.

To get an idea have a look at the http://www.wotif.com/ site. You can get cheap deals on there but it also sets out all the accommodation in Melbourne.

We always stay at the Mercure Grand in Swanston Street as its right in the middle of the city and very handy for shows, china town, shopping.

We have some great properties (starting from £230 per week) all over Melbourne, the one in Seaford is 500m from the train station in to the city.
