Cheap accomodation
 

Hi

My son (19 years old) and I are moving out to Melbourne on 15th August 2007.

Money (as for most of us!) is tight and I wondered if anyone could advise as to the cheapest accomodation whilst looking for a rental property?

I'm not sure I am backpacker material and even the Big 4 parks seem a bit beyond my budget.

How long should I anticipate to find a rental (we will have a cat joining us)

Any ideas?
