Change of Job during application process
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this one ?
It looks like I am going to have to change jobs due to various reasons - not to mention the one whereby my boss has found out my intentions to migrate (by alledgedly bugging my phone !!) and as is being a complete b*****d.
Anyway, I have already passed the Skills Assessment with AIM and the main application has been in since the end of July (Skilled Australian Sponsored). Does anyone know if I need to inform any of the authorities if I change jobs during the process ?
Your help would be greatly received as I don't want to invalidate the application at this stage ???
Kind Regards
Warren & Jill
PS: We are looking to settle in Perth

Hi Warren Dix,
Sounds like your boss is a nice guy to work for - Not.
As far as I know if you meet your skill assesment criteria then it shouldn't matter.
I'm sure others will reply as well.
Bye

Im sure i read somewhere that you need to inform dimia just as a courtesy - purely on the basis that if they wanted to ask something that could be dealt with over the phone, it would save time rather than having to write to you.
maybe wrong, but im sure thats what i read.

Thanks for your comments guys, hopefully it won't affect the application.
