can you use amember of the metropolitan police to certify documents as you can when applying for a passport or is it stricter when applying for a visa

Originally posted by railman2404 can you use amember of the metropolitan police to certify documents as you can when applying for a passport or is it stricter when applying for a visa tia railman Here is a list of people that I got from the 'partner migration' booklet A magistrate A Justice of the Peace A commissioner for declarations A solicitor A registered practitioner A Bank Manager A postal Manager And an Australian Postal Corporation officer with 5 years service It does not state metropolitan police but if they are a JP (justice of the peace) then I don't think it would be a problem. I will be using a solicitor Hope this helps :) |

Our agent quoted us £2 per document:rolleyes: I used a friendly, local solicitor who charged 30 pence per document. A bloody big saving concidering the amount of paperwork involved. |
