Hi all,

Is there an equivalent of the UK's Argos or Index catalogue shops in Oz?

We would like to buy a new super kingsize bed but are unsure if buying in the UK and shipping with everything else would be sensible. The one we fancy is in Argos, super kingsize 6 feet 6 inches long, 6 feet wide for £349.00. How does this compare with prices in Australia?

My advice for what its worth is, if you have seen somthing you like it buy it.

The cost of shipping will be very small in the overall cost of your shipping bill.

Chances are you will pay at least the same or more in Australia.

One of the things we miss most is a very handy Argos store. We have rellies over here visiting at the moment, and they brought with them a new Argos catalogue, which we could peruse at our leisure and see what we are missing! How sad is that?!
