Castle Hill
Hi can anyone tell me anything about Castle Hill in NSW? I am thinking of renting something there. Also does anyone know what the high schools are like? Thanks!

It's a great area - lots of money there! Can't tell you anything about the schools there though.

LOL!!! We aren't posh out this way!! We're quite normal (well I suppose that's a matter of opinion) really!!!
Castle Hill is a nice suburb. It has a mix of well established housing and newer housing. It's pretty leafy green and there's a great shopping centre.
There is only Castle Hill High School in Castle Hill, but there are others in the surrounding areas. Castle Hill has an OK reputation. It has an extension class for kids who are particularly clever - and apparently that's pretty good.
PM me if you want more info about this area - wel live 5 minutes north of Caslte Hill, so I know the area well.
Hope that's usuful.

Hi Ozzidoc,
Thanks for your info. When you say miles, It only looks like 15 miles to me on the map from the CBD?
Have I got this wrong? How long would it take to get to the CBD? Is there a train or bus even?

No train station. Not sure about the bus service, but traffic jams used to be common. Athough the new M2 motorway might have sped things up a bit.
