There seems to be a slow down in everything at the mo. I know on the immigration forum there are loads of Dec/Jan applicants not moving for most visa categories.

It's hard to predict but looks like the changes after July 1st are having a big impact on pre July applications.

Are there any indications on timeline? I know it's frustrating not being able to predict when things will move when once upon a time one could roughly guess when things would happen. We're in the same boat although further advanced as you know but we're still in the land of limbo waiting for DIMIA to get our visas out.

There has been several "got it's" but not as many as I'm accustomed to so I guess we just have to hang in there and continue with the waiting game. How my heart hasn't clapped up I'll never know!!

our application was lodged 30 Dec 2003 and we recived request for medicals on 5 th june we were very shocked as not expecting them, all paper work now sat in oz and we are just waiting for the letter to say we got the visa, we are 136 skills visa... Hang in there just think it will be worth the wait in the end..

Hi we were also late nov 28th, we are also done and dusted, 5 1/2 months our si 136 took.

we fly out in 5 weeks!!fingers crossed to you all....

We are late Nov, had meds requested 1st July, crossed in post as did them unrequested, nothing since but living in hope every time the postman comes.

We're on a 136 visa, lodged Oct 03 and managed to get a c/o name advised about 3 weeks ago.

We got police checks done (unrequested) in Jan 04 and preloaded meds in Feb 04.

We've just been asked to lodge the $100K bond.

I gues that you can expect to be advised of a c/o name in the next few weeks or so ???

HI Darren is a sparky(electrician) we did the visa on his skills

We sent our meds & police checks in ,in April unrequested and i think that we got rushed through to meet their year end which is june(just our thinking)
