Default carpenters in wa

Hi there we are due to leave next year january for Wa south west region. I was just wondering if someone can let us know if my partrner needs any sort of licence to work as a carpenter either for a building firm or as a subby. Any info on getting started would be a help. Many thanks
Kate

Ooh no I hope not! Mr Clip will be most unimpressed if he has to do a course when he gets there - surely 3 years at college and a c&g advanced is enough!
