Default Carpenters in Queensland ?Registration?

Sending TRA off and intend to go to Australia next year. Really unsure where to settle!
Understand you have to have a Blue Card to work in Queensland & this looks very simple to get.
Do you need to get a BSA license as this looks quite complicated? Am a carpenter and initially intend to get work for a company or agency.
Once my qualifications have been assessed by TRA is this enough to start work in Queensland or do I have to do anything else?
Also, am I right in thinking you don't need any kind of registration to work in WA or SA (apart from TRA)?
Any advice appreciated!
