Carer Category (Carer's spouse)
 

I have an uncle who is living alone and has given up on life due to depression, he has taken up to alcohol, he hasn't been working for about 2 years now. He has cousins living in his city, but they are unable to take care of him due to their family responsibilities. He was thinking of me coming to take care of him as a carer. I was wondering if my husband can come along with me too? We live in Canada. How long does this process usually take? Is it quicker if we apply from within Australia? Your input will be highly appreciated.
