Career Location advice ?

Career Location advice ?
Hi,
Narrowed down the choice now between Brisbane & Melbourne, although where in these places is another matter. Need to do some work.
Anyway the deciding factor is going to be the Job, I work in IT, mainly Network Infrastructure etc, the wife in Retail Management (although not wanting to go back to it).
Looking around it seems most IT jobs are Melbourne way ? - anyone already done this move within this field ?.
