Career change?! Dietician/nutritionist?!
Does anyone have any idea what sort of qualifications/training are required to become a dietician/nutritionist or something along those lines?!

Dietetics/Nutrition is a tough course - heaps of biochemistry. QUT in Brisbane offer a great course (most of the Nutritionists/Dieticians we use at work graduated from QUT). It's 4 years full-time and has fairly heavy workload.
Best of luck!

Hi Jen,
Daughter has a dietician as part of the Diabetes team/clinic. We see her every 3months (flys in with team), and she also works on the wards at kids hospital and Perth appointments.
Looks a great job. They see kids and parents and teach us about carb counting, carb ratio, carbs for insulin pumps, playing with plastic foods as part of your job cant be bad eithr
Ive heard Nutrician is harder to get jobs, and classed as a bit less desirable and airy fairy.
Most of the good jobs require a Dietician qualification. So look for qualified Dietician rather than nutritionist.
