Default Car Shipping Yes No

Giving some thought into shipping our Ford Galaxy to Brisbane instead of looking for one when we arrive.
Obviously going to be registration issues but has anyone here shipped their car in with their regular household stuff in the container. We may have space.
Is this possible, shipping with household goods?
Keen to take the car, especially as sponsor is paying for shipping.
Any help with this thread would be greatly appreciated.

Search the forum about shipping cars, the question has been asked before.

It could well end up being unique here

Agreed. The Ford Galaxy was not sold in Australia, neither was the Volkswagen Sharan or the Seat Alhambra so you will not be able to get parts if anything goes wrong. And you won't be able to sell it unless it has a V6 engine - and then it will have to be really cheap. You will be better to sell it and buy something in Oz.

To sell it here, the add would have to read "66 Ford Galaxy V8 2 door hardtop low mileage complete suit moding". Otherwise you'll just drive it till it stops because no one will want it.
