Hi,
Does anyone know if I can use an Australian car seat in the UK??? It's a safe'n'sound one - also...can this be used on a flight (attached to the plane seat).

The requirements for the Aussie seats is higher than the UK.
The UK cars will not have the required anchor points for the Aussie seat to be fitted as we would over here.

There is no law to say what type of restraint/car seat you have to use - they just want you to make sure that children are properly restrained in cars.

As for the plane - contact the airline and ask them - they are usually pretty helpful and will give you seat measurments so that you can check to see if your seat will fit.

Does anyone have a UK car seat over here that they don't need - just to get us home? We have our old car seats in storage back home so would rather avoid buying another one

We're in Perth btw....
