Car insurance in the UK
Does anyone know of UK car insurance companies that will recognise the 4 years no claims bonus I have built up whilst in Australia?
Many thanks for any suggestions

Re: Car insurance in the UK
This has been covered before in some old threads. I was away for 21 yrs and my Oz NCB has been recognised no problem. However my wife was on an Intl licence so it was hard to use comparison sites. We went through a broker and got a good deal in the first year with Aviva but it rose alarmingly upon renewal so we switched and saved £200. We still used a broker, they charged about £15 but made life much easier for us.
We brought full statements from our Oz insurance company (not just a copy of the policy) which we were advised to do and it worked out fine.

Great, thanks. I'll check Aviva out!

Re: Car insurance in the UK
I did my car insurance on the phone after trying Go Compare but none of them were interested in my no claims history in Australia and I pushed it quite hard. Most of them were prepared to give me a 40% introduction bonus though. I found the Cooperative Insurance to be the best at the moment - they were nearly £100 cheaper than Aviva although I had planned to go Aviva, having been a named driver on one of their policies for a number of years.
