Default Car Insurance in Oz

Hya, can anyone help us? we have ordered a car over in Australia and having it delivered to us as we land in Brisbane on 6th June. Can anyone recommend a cheap insurance company to insure through (fully comp). We wont have a permenent address when we land and will have to us the hotels address that we are staying with intitially until we find rented. Has anyone done this before? What do we need to get insurance? How easy is it to set up? Any help will be greatly apprechiated. Cheers.

Don't go cheap as you only get what you pay for.

A good insurer say Allianz or GIO will only cost you a little bit more than the poor ones.

PM me if you want my professional opinion of who is good or more importantly bad.
