Car insurance for imported car
Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend an insurance company to use to insure our car that we've imported from the UK ? I'm having a bit of a nightmare finding one at the mo ! Thanks.

What type of car is it ?
I used Shannons, they were cheaper than the same (Australian delivered) car with any of the majors (NRMA, AAMI, etc). My car isn't anything special, but I had to be an enthusiast for them to insure me (I reckon dragging your car halfway could be called enthusiastic).
You can also ring the relevant insurance ombudsmun/complaints dept wherever you are and ask for the list, I did this after a stupid conversation with somebody from the RACQ. I don't have this info anymore, binned it all after speaking to Shannons.
