I am thinking of buying a car when i get to oz in jan 04 on my working holiday visa i was wondering if anyone can recommend insurance companys that are good and cheap that i can contact when i get a car and have insurance, i would only want the basic insurance.

also i dont have my own car here in the uk and i dont have insurance but i do use my parents other car from time to time which is insured for me would this make any difference to what quotes i could get.

last time i had a car of my own was 9 years ago and it was a right off no fault of my own but someone else since then i have never bothered to get another.

i can still drive as well as i did back then and still drive often in parents car also have drove in australia before and usa so driving is no problem also my age of 31 yrs is also no issue.

anyways can anyone recommend insurance companys cheap and good as asked
