Hi karen.
Can i be cheeky and ask are you buying or renting and what dual cab did you go for?
Sorry, it's just i'm thinking of doing the same with the same, either buying or renting. I'd prefer to buy, it'll be cheaper in the long run.
Thanks in advance.

Same Country Different Systems
Each state has differen insurance requirements. In NSW when you renew your rego you have to purchase your Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CPT) as well. Comprehensive insurance is then bought on top of that if you want it. I received 6 months free CPT with the rego of the car I bought.
When you go to QLD you will then have to convert over to a QLD rego and go through their bureacracy.
Check out www.rta.nsw.gov.au for NSW details.
