Anyone recommend a decent car hire firm in Melbourne or are they all much of the same? We are off in September for a couple of weeks. I've had a quick look and they look about £200 for two weeks. Does this seem reasonable?

I totally and completely recommend them. Read all the small print and note that if you take the package for CDW it includes delivery and collection at the airport - otherwise this is charged for extra. We used them for a 22 day hire from Sydney airport to Melbourne airport and they were the best by yards. They are an agent for another company (I think Delta) but the main site actually charges more than they do for the exact same hire.
