Yep - and it's the same in NSW - if the car was licenced to be on the road then she would have had to show proof of her third party insurance to register it. I would have thought she would know that anyway, maybe it's comprehensive insurance she doesn't have?

Yeah, I should think this will cost her a small fortune- something you don't have when you are earning shite on a temp visa.
